Danielle, a”h, attended Horev Middle School. She was a model student whose academic achievements were second only to her outstanding character traits. Her image will forever be engraved upon the heart and soul of the school and faculty, and her memory lives on in Achuzat Danielle, the brand-new Horev Preschool Complex that bears her name.
Achuzat Danielle was the name chosen for the new cluster of preschools in Mercaz Torani Raanana (Horev). Horev schools are known far and wide for the excellent education they impart to students. The student population at Mercaz Torani Raanana is mostly local, yet there is also a considerable representation from Herzliyya, Ramat Hasharon, and Kfar Saba. Mercaz Torani Raanana was founded with the goal of offering authentic Jewish education to those seeking to discover their heritage. Over the years, the organization and its educational institutions have expanded beyond estimation, most prominently in the separate Horev schools for boys and girls.
At the helm of this educational empire is Rabbi Yisrael Danziger, a model of absolute devotion to his students and their education. The academic program is complemented by a rich variety of extracurricular activities, all painstakingly developed with the goal of molding the personal character of each and every student and granting them tools and capacities to achieve their utmost in Torah and personal development. The results are evident in the superb trust and appreciation that parents exhibit toward the school and its faculty. The parent body is diverse but together comprises a beautiful community that values the educational ideals espoused by the school and seeks to implement the same model at home.
At long last, following many years of wandering from one temporary location to another, Mercaz Torani Raanana Preschool has finally settled into its permanent home. Many thanks are due to the City Municipality, chiefly to Mayor Zeev Bielski and Councilor Eli Cohen for their generous efforts in securing the beautiful, spacious site which enables young children to learn, thrive, and flourish in comfort.

By dedicating the preschool compound in memory of their beloved Danielle, Sonnenfeld family friends express their hopes and prayers that the continued growth and blossoming of young Jewish children will serve as a merit for Danielle’s beautiful soul and grant comfort and consolation to the bereaved family.
