For the first time ever, on May 9-12, 2017, the Annual Meeting of the International BFM Study Group for Leukemia and Lymphoma in Children and Adolescents took place in Jerusalem. Throughout the past three decades, this prestigious conference has been held in different capitals around the world. This year’s Meeting in Jerusalem was held in conjunction with the Israeli Society for Pediatric Oncology/Hematology (ISPOH) and was sponsored by the Danielle Sonnenfeld Foundation in memory of Danielle z”l.
The conference, held in the Dan Hotel in Jerusalem, united medical doctors and researchers from 34 countries around the world who shared and discussed various methods of battling serious forms of leukemia and lymphoma in children and adolescents. New, ground-breaking studies were presented in the course of the meeting, and the Study Group’s progress and activities were comprehensively evaluated.
