Minister of Justice Ayelet Shaked Attended Dedication Event of Danielle Floor in Dormitory Building of Yeshivah Hagevohah of Itamar Which Was Constructed in Loving Memory of Danielle Sonnenfeld, a”h

 

Longing and pain upon the loss of beloved Danielle Sonnenfeld, a”h, is assuaged slightly each time light and goodness, both hallmarks of Danielle, shine upon the world in her memory. Another dose of giving was added several days after Yom Ha’Atzmaut, 5776, at the dedication ceremony of the Danielle Floor in the dormitory building of Yeshivah Hagevohah of Itamar. The stirring event was attended by the Rosh Yeshivah Harav Avichai Ronetzky; Mr. Moti Sonnenfeld, who donated the floor in his daughter’s memory; and Minister of Justice Ayelet Shaked.

Addressing the audience, Minister Shaked expressed, “Building the dormitory of a Yeshivah is part of building the Land, upon its length and width. We will continue our tradition of positive activity increasing construction in Yehudah and Shomron, and I’m certain that we will continue dedicating many more buildings in this area, so more and more people will come to settle Yehudah and Shomron… During the week of shivah, everyone discovers things about their loved ones that they didn’t know earlier. I’m telling you: Share your experiences with your parents, so they can be there for you.”

Danielle’s father, Mr. Elio Moti Sonnenfeld is a longtime patron and friend of the Yeshivah, and he has been a substantial partner in building the Itamar educational campus which includes Mishkan Ehud and two dormitory buildings. Danielle herself was present at the dedication event of Mishkan Ehud. She, who was blessed with incredible qualities, talents, and love of G-d and her fellow Jews, is surely rejoicing with the light of the Torah that radiates and expands in her memory upon the holy land of the Shomron.
