Every Shabbat immediately after Minchah, Beit Hamedrash Be’er Miriam, which is located in the building of the Great Synagogue in Jerusalem, hosts a seudah shlishit in the shul. The traditional third meal of Shabbat is sponsored by the Danielle Sonnenfeld Foundation in memory of Danielle z”l.
The Great Synagogue is located on King George Street, Jerusalem, adjacent to Heichal Shlomo and beside Beit Haknesses Yerurun.
Since its dedication in 1982, the Great Synagogue has served as a spiritual and religious center that draws tourists from around the world, especially on Shabbat and holidays when the prayers follow a precise schedule and assume a festive tone. The shul lobby features a staircase that leads to Beit Hamedrash Be’er Miriam.
